Where to go for great Tequila in Toronto

March 23, 2019

Tequila Tromba’s Eric Brass kicks back in his favourite city (that is, the one he lives in…)

What neighbourhood do you like to hang out in?
Kensington Market and Ossington. Killer bars and restaurants.
Favourite museum? The ROM (Royal Ontario Museum).
How about shopping? Yorkville has it all.
Where do you go for dinner?
That would be like choosing my favourite child. Impossible! [Drink Toronto suggests these places to enjoy a killer Tromba Tequila cocktail: Milagro, La Carnita, Quetzal and El Rey.]
Do you dig cool architecture?
For something that is totally unique and historic, Casa Loma is one of my favourite places in the city. It has something to offer every season. Their team are masters of changing things up.
Do you every get takeout delivered?
We cook at home often, but when we do takeout, we often go for Indian or pizza. If Mexican travelled better, I’d go for Mexican every day.
Who is your favourite Canadian band? The Arkells.
Do you ever kick back in hotel lobbies? Got a favourite? Shangri-La, Hotel Annex and The Thompson.
Any weird and wonderful things you love about our city?
We have an incredible landscape of entrepreneurs and creators that have fueled the city we see today. When you think of wonderful, watching the city grow around these industries and change makers has really been something.
