We’ve Got Your Weekend Covered
Welcome to Drink Toronto’s weekly “Quick Sip Shopping” List of the steals, deals and awesome things in the world of food and drink we’ve seen this week. Designed to make your life easier, this round up is aimed at getting you in and out of the LCBO faster (perfect for those Union Station dashes to make the GO Train), and eliminate the humming and hawing over where to go for date-night.

Pretty Ugly is whipping up a delicious Havana Club “Coattail” to celebrate Coats for Cocktails this Sunday (see You’ve Gotta Try This, below). We say cheers to that!
Havana Club 7 Year Old Rum, $34.95
Use in: See recipe above
We had the good fortune to attend the Toronto Life Most Influential Party on Thursday, and Stiegl was one of the beers being poured. And poured. And poured. It seems you can lead a swanky crowd to fine wine and scotch, but after a while, it’s time for a thirst-quenching, refreshing beer. Exhibit A.
Stiegl Bier $2.80, 500 mL can

Do good and drink good this Sunday!
On November 26, bring a winter coat to Pretty Ugly, Harry’s Charbroiled or Tennessee Tavern and get a free cocktail. All coats will be donated to New Circles Community Services, which helps new Canadians and low income earners get the clothing, skills and social connections for a stronger life. Over the next four months, New Circles aims to provide warm clothing for about 8,000 refugees and newcomers who now call Toronto home. Do it for the cause, or do it for the cocktail, but either way hit up any one of these awesome Parkdale spots for a great drink, great time, and great charity.
