We threw a party in June and 300 people showed up to sample wines and beers, sip cocktails and enjoy a bounty of deliciousness. We're doing it again in July and we'd love to see you there. You can link to all the photos here, or scroll on down and get the highlights. [Photos by Rick O'Brien]
It was a beautiful evening and downtown Toronto was looking smart. At 6 p.m., guests began to arrive, grabbing a glass and heading for the iQ Venues King York Terrace, stopping to pick up a mini bottle of Henkell Rosé.
Was there any food, you ask? Only the world's largest cheese and charcuterie board (not confirmed by Guinness Book of World Records), along with Jamaican barbecue, tacos (meat and vegan), fried oysters and mint chip ice cream sandwiches, all house-made from the award-winning chefs at Vantage Venues.
It felt like the first day of summer — and everyone dressed up! The sun was shining, the city glowed.
And there was wine...
Lots and lots of wine...
Like really a lot of wine...
And people who enjoy drinking wine. Trust us, we did not run out of wine!
Alex from BearFace Whisky wowed the crowd with his technique and our resident Tarot card reader Kait Fowlie made sure everyone's vibes were well maintained. Kait will be at our July bash too. Meantime, check her out @kait_fowlie.
We had beer too. Because, beer. Lost Craft brought some beauties.
